Fiona Faumuina
Siva Instructor
Born and raised in the UK to a Samoan father, Fiona joined LSHO to stay connected to her cultural heritage through movement and storytelling, while also deepening her connection to her body and sense of self. Living in London can be fast-paced, and for Fiona, dance offers a space to pause, be present, and reconnect through movement.
After rejoining LSHO in 2024 following a long hiatus, and with the launch of the Siva programme in 2025, Fiona is proud to now lead the Samoan Siva classes at LSHO. She values being part of a community that consistently shows up for one another and works collectively to celebrate and perpetuate Pacific culture in the UK.
Grounded in Samoan cultural values such as community, respect, service, and spirituality, Fiona approaches her role within LSHO with care and intention. She is grateful for the opportunity to teu le vā - to nurture and protect sacred relationships and spaces - within LSHO and the wider Pasifika community.
