Kazue Osaki

Hula Instructor

Kazue has been dancing Hula for 20 years. She joined LSHO after moving to London from Japan during the early years of the school, where she became the school’s Hula instructor and led the Hula Studies class. During her three years in London, she also created some of our most beloved choreographies. Through her role as Hula instructor, she was able to share not just her graceful technique, but her love for the dance and the joy it brings through movement, storytelling, and connection.

Now residing once more in Japan, Kazue supports the school by providing continued guidance. She has continued to help choreograph Hula for performances and competitions, including the 2nd Place Auana at Hula ‘Oni E Europe in 2023. She herself has competed with LSHO internationally, and will represent us as soloist at Hula ‘Oni E Europe 2026.

Dancing and being part of LSHO has been important to Kazue because of the friendships built through Hula and the way it brings people together through a shared love of dance, culture and creativity.
